Refuse Pickup

In Wingham and Blyth, there will be two weeks of refuse pickup in the spring and two weeks in the fall around Thanksgiving. Further notification will be provided in the newspaper. Refuse depot located at the landfills for year round use.

Tipping Fees

There is a Tipping Fee Schedule in effect for both landfill sites.

Ewaste

New eWaste Program at Wingham Landfill Site **

Electronic waste items will now be accepted at the Wingham Landfill Site in North Huron free of charge.

Please Note: Batteries, Lamps and Light fixtures/christmas lights are NOT accepted.

Hazardous Waste

The County of Huron Household Hazardous Waste Program is an opportunity to dispose of potentially dangerous wastes in an environmentally safe manner at no cost to you.  The Hazardous Waste Facility is located at the Holmesville Landfill Site.
