The Township of North Huron and Municipality of Morris-Turnberry in the past relied on a recycling company, Switch Energy Corp, to remove loose bale wrap collected at landfill sites. This service is no longer being offered at the landfill locations, effective immediately, but is still being conducted directly through Switch Energy Corp.
Farmers and businesses wishing to recycle plastics can contact Switch Energy Corp directly at 519-482-7561 or visit their website at http://www.switchenergycorp.com/BaleWrap.aspx to learn more about how this program works.
