Working with a focus group and with input from the Wingham Business Alliance, a logo for Wingham was adopted. Members of the business association feel it is a good start in promoting the pride of their community.
The gold line drawing represents a skyline made up of business and residential buildings that illustrate the “life” of Wingham... a place to work, live and play. The clock tower has been included as it’s a well known visual for the town of Wingham.
The tree symbolizes growth and progression. The 3 darker green leaves may also be interpreted as a person representing community. The green leaves and branches join with the letter h which has been stylized to flow into “roots” illustrating the sense of “Home... where our roots are”.
