NORTH HURON MUSEUM & BARN DANCE MUSEUM


273 Josephine Street, Wingham, ON 

The museum contains a variety of displays on the history of life in North Huron, including displays on medicine, industry, military and CKNX.  The Barn Dance Museum is located in the lower level of the building and is included in the price of admission.

PARKLAND AND GARDENS


Alice Munro Literary Garden

273 Josephine Street, Wingham                    

Situated next to the North Huron Museum.  A self-guided walking tour of points of interest in the town of Wingham relating to Alice Munro is now available - inquire at the North Huron Museum.

 

Children's Memorial Park

Highway 4, north of Blyth.

Scenic picnic rest stop along highway 4 between Belgrave and Blyth.

 

Blyth Greenway Memory Garden

Drummond Street East, North Side

Memory Garden Annual Service is 3rd Sunday of September at 2pm.  This garden was created by the Blyth Communities in Bloom Committee, the garden is available for the public to enjoy.  Colourful flowers enhance times of reflectionand meditation.  For more information please contact Bev Elliott 519-523-4323.

 

Belgrave Park

In the heart of Belgrave

Located beside the Belgrave Community Centre and Arena, the park includes ball diamonds, sports court, and children's play area.

 

Wawanosh Valley Conservation Area

Nature Centre Road

Wawanosh is a large property that contains a variety of natural habitats. Both the Belgrave Creek and the Maitland River flow through the Conservation Area. The Wawanosh Nature Centre is located here and the site is used extensively for conservation education programs and special events.
