Melissa has been with the North Huron Fitness Centre since 2001. She has dedicated her time to providing a welcoming atmosphere and superb customer service for members, ongoing education to stay current in the industry, and supporting her staff so they can do what makes them great. She loves working with pre and post natal moms to focus on body positivity, rehabilitation and strength building post-pregnancy. She also enjoys challenging lifters with balance moves and little weights to make work them as hard as they would when lifting the big ones. Her main goal is to challenge everyone to continually evaluate their relationship with their body, movement, and food so they can age well and live their best life. |

Carol joined the recreation team in 2005 and began her certification journey with a focus on working with an aging population. Since then she has expanded her skill base to include group fitness, personal training, and wellness coaching for all ages. Although she works with a variety of clients in her personal training practice, she is focused on post-recovery individuals and those dealing with the aftereffects of acute or chronic illnesses. Her group fitness classes are well-known for emphasis on form and function, attention to detail and her inability to count the number of reps in a set. When she is not in the gym, she volunteers with outreach programs, bringing fitness programming to specialized populations. She is as much a student of fitness as she is an advocate and instructor. Carol believes there is always something new to learn and the best teachers are often found on our gym floor. |

She has a passion for working with children through challenging and fun-filled programming such as Generation Pound® and Zumba® Kids. She also spends her winters teaching the youth in the community how to skate, both recreationally and competitively. Julia is always upbeat, knowledgeable and committed to helping her clients succeed in their health and fitness journey. Lexi is a Certified Athletic Therapist and a Personal Trainer with a passion to help everyone from elite athletes to weekend warriors (and everyone in between!) move better and feel better. She works with the Wingham Ironmen Junior C team, and previously worked with the Dundas Real McCoy's Senior A team, but has experience working with all sports including rugby, basketball, football, volleyball, soccer and ultimate frisbee. She has experience with all ages from small children to seniors and is constantly adding to her fitness toolkit. |
