Municipal Government
The Township of North Huron serves as the lower-tier municipal government for a rural community in Huron County, overseeing public services, infrastructure, and community development. The Township provides municipal services such as water, sewer, fire protection, provision and upkeep of transportation assets, financial services, a variety of recreational and childcare services, tourism and culture promotion and development, and building services. Guided by an elected seven-member Council and supported by municipal staff, the Township works to enhance quality of life, support local economic growth, and preserve the area’s agricultural heritage and small-town character.
