Council, Committee and Board meetings are open to the general public and usually occur at the North Huron Municipal Office unless otherwise posted. Meetings are scheduled regularly to address matters pertaining to North Huron, but Council, Committees, and Boards also hold special meetings from time to time. Notice of all special meetings will be provided on the Agendas and Minutes page. Regular Council Meetings |
Regular Council Meetings are held on the first and third Monday of each month. If the Monday falls on a holiday, the meeting is held on Tuesday. Meetings begin at 6:00pm and are held in the North Huron Council Chambers located at 271 Frances Street, Wingham, unless an alternative location is authorized by a resolution of Council.

Blyth Business Improvement Area (BBIA) Meetings |
The Blyth Business Improvement Area Board Meetings are held on the last Thursday of each month, except for in the months of July and December where no meeting is held. Meetings begin at 8:00 a.m. and are held at the Blyth & District Community Centre, unless an alternate location is authorized by Council. 2024 Blyth Business Improvement Area Board Meetings are scheduled as follows:

Wingham Business Improvement Area (WBIA) Meetings |
The Wingham Business Improvement Area Board Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month, except for in the month of July where no meeting is held. Meetings begin at 6:30pm and are held in the Hot Stove Lounge at the North Huron Wescast Community Complex, unless an alternate location has been authorized by Council. 2024 Wingham Business Improvement Area Board Meetings are scheduled as follows:

Property Standards Committee Meetings |
Property Standards Committee Meetings are scheduled on an as-needed basis to hear appeals in accordance with the Township of North Huron’s Property Standards By-law and the Building Code Act. The time, date and location of these meetings are determined by the Municipal Clerk in consultation with the Chair. |
Committee of Adjustment Meetings |
Committee of Adjustment meetings are scheduled on an as-needed basis. These public meetings are scheduled when Minor Variance Applications are submitted pursuant to Section 45 of the Planning Act. When Committee of Adjustment meetings are scheduled, they are held prior to Regular Council Meetings at 5:30pm at the North Huron Municipal Office, unless an alternate time or location has been authorized by Council.

Court of Revision Meetings |
Court of Revision meetings are scheduled on an as-needed basis to address appeals on assessments that landowners submit for a proposed drainage works. The time, date and location of these meetings are determined by the Municipal Clerk in accordance with the timelines required under the Drainage Act. |
