Half Load Season March 1st - April 30

In an effort to reduce damage to the roads during spring thaw, from March 1 to April 30 each year, the Municipality restricts vehicles to half loads (5 tonnes per axle) on all roads in the Municipality.

Winter parking

Between the hours of 2:00 A.M. and 7:00 A.M. no motor vehicle is allowed to park on any streets, roadways, alleys or parking lots in North Huron between November 1st and May 1st of each year. Violators will be ticketed and/or will be required to pay the cost of having their vehicle towed.
