Watermain Break: Feb. 3, 2026
B-Line Road Wingham

A watermain break has occurred on B-Line Road in Wingham. Crews have been dispatched for repairs.

Water Services on B-Line Road from Martha Street, to the eastern township boundary will be shut-off for the duration of the repair.

Traffic Disruptions will occur, with reductions to a single- lane.

We regret the inconvenience this has caused, and hope to have repairs completed as soon as possible.

Waste Management Update January 28, 2026.

Due to inclement weather, Waste Management was unable to complete garbage and recycling collection on several rural roads January 27,  2026. Missed garbage and recycling collection for the impacted roads listed below, will occur on Tuesday, February 3 2026. Regular garbage and recycling collection for Wingham will not be impacted by this operational change.

-Moncrief Road

-Currie Line

-Belfast Road

-Zion Road

New Carbon Monoxide Rules - Effective January 1st

New Ontario Fire Code rules require carbon monoxide alarms on every level of residential homes if you have:

• A fuel-burning appliance (gas, oil, propane, wood)
• A fireplace or wood stove
• An attached garage
