On June 10, 2026, the Wingham Standpipe will undergo isolation testing in preparation for upcoming construction. The duration of testing is estimated to be a few hours, between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.. This testing may result in Wingham properties experiencing water pressure fluctuations for the duration of this maintenance. Residents may have rust coloured water. If this happens, flush the water for 15-30 minutes until it runs clear.
Waste Management, in partnership with Township of North Huron staff, will be hosting an Open House and Information Night at the North Huron Wescast Community Complex on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Attendees will be able to view the collection carts in person, gain a better understanding of how the program works, and receive clarification on questions they may have.”
Hydrant Flushing will begin on June 1, 2026, in Wingham. Hydrant Flushing in Blyth will begin mid-June 2026, once Wingham is complete.
