Garbage Bag Tags Refund

Wingham Organic Yard Waste Depot
Effective Thursday, July 9, 2026, the organic yard waste depot located behind the Wingham Public Works yard (441 Josephine Street) will be closed for construction. Full details Garbage and Recycling | Township of North Huron
The sidewalk on the north side of John Street East, between Carling Terrace and Summit Drive has been closed in association with the Standpipe reconstruction.
Beginning June 10, properties within a designated radius of the Wingham Standpipe will receive a home visit or information pamphlet at their door from OZA Inspections Ltd. This company will be conducting inspections of properties (after the resident has scheduled it), to verify existing building conditions. Completion of these inspections are important, in the unlikely event that issues arise during demolition or construction of the standpipe. Further information will be mailed to the impacted properties in the coming days.
