Dog Park
The local dog park is located in the village of Auburn. Dog Owners are reminded to clean up after their pets..
Through partnerships between surrounding municipalities, village volunteers and family donations; land, fencing and maintenance has created this very active dog park. Memorial Dog Signs are available to purchase to help fund this project to continue the success.
There are two sections, a small dog park and a large dog park. It's great to have a separation in case dogs get territorial.
There are also two gate systems. One gate to enter the dog park, and then another gate to go into either side (big or small dog park). This helps prevent escapes, as you can come in, and close the gate behind you, take off the leash, etc.
There are big gates at the back for a tractor to come in and cut the grass. There are patio stones down in the entrance gates to maintain a clean entrance. There are garbage cans for poop bags that are emptied weekly, and a poop bag dispenser that is filled up.
Picnic tables are available to create a friendly environment.
Dedicated volunteers planted a couple hundred trees around the park. Looking toward the future.
